The soup dumplings are a “sheer delight” at this “no-frills” Little Italy Chinese that churns them out “fast” and “cheap”, along with other Shanghainese eats; a “helter-skelter” vibe and a staff that seemingly “can’t wait for you to leave” are the downsides.

Starting with a humble scallion pancake, crispy and light, to crab&pork soup dumplings, moist and bursting with soup, sichuan wontons, with translucent skin and a light touch on the spicy sesame sauce. Then pork lo mein, with home made noodles, eggplant with garlic sauce & pork, with perfectly cooked eggplant & tree ears and finished with fried tiny pork buns, gleaming white with just enough dough to keep the juicy pork in and crispy on the bottom. Perfect! ”

Additional notes: Attendees who change their RSVP to "No" on the day of the Meetup will forfeit their deposits. Attendees who "no show" will forfeit their deposits AND risk their memberships in the Group. There will be NO exceptions to these policies.
